Carlsberg 4th installment of Where's The Party? 2013
So last Saturday on the 6th of July 2013 was Carlsberg 4th installment of Where's The Party?
Hmm wondering where would this one be held at.
This is actually my third time attending Carlsberg’s Where’s the Party? and I never get bored of it as the theme keeps changing and Carlsberg continually surprises me with each party! This time round the venue was in the Klang Valley but the secret was really well kept as guests including myself were kept in the dark until the meet-up point was revealed just a couple of days before the event.
Anyway here’s what happened at WTP? 2013.
We met up at the meeting point which was MAEPS at Serdang.
The amount of people already there queuing up to get in was crazy!
The hype for 'Where's the Party?' has tremendously increased since the last one.

Lovely Carlsberg Stewardess assisting guests with their tags and 'checking' in.
Erin, Manda and I after getting our tags.
The guys and their weird posses.
Well as you can see from the back ground that this year’s party was twice the size of WTP 2012 (Hard Rock Hotel Penang), with a turnout of 3,000 guests from Malaysia and Singapore.
Going through metal detectors like we were entering an airport haha!
WTP? 2013 was held indoors this time in the MAEPS convention hall which was transformed into a ‘jet-set’ venue with a classic Antonov AN-2 airplane in the “aircraft hangar”. First up was the press conference.
Talk about arriving in style!
That’s the new Carlsberg Malaysia managing director Henrik Andersen and Carlsberg Singapore managing director John Botia emerging from cockpit of the plane!
Henrik also remarked that "air travel was the theme this year and announced that Carlsberg would be flying 10 very lucky people to the global Where's the Party? in Europe with headliner Axwell from Swedish House Mafia.
MAEPS was chosen as the party venue for WTP? 2013 (Malaysia) as they needed a massive place that would fit the plane and the huge crowd. Henrik went on to explain that WTP? was about taking partygoers to new heights and he hoped that Carlsberg set a new benchmark in the Malaysian party scene by creating another epic and memorable sensorial event.
A Global WTP? I wanna go!
Carlsberg will reward party-goers from 22 nations who are bold enough to step up to the challenge with passes to the epic European party experience. How I wish I could win that but my phone died on me! ):
Group pic time!

SO LETS GET THE PARTY STARTED!
The variety of artistes and entertainment, and stage and thematic set-up was done more extravagantly than ever before. Lot of party games - Loud Ludo, Marshall Matters, No-Sight Flight, Turbalance, Safety Slides and i-Darts.
All these definitely brought the crowd together.
It was fun, you get to win prizes. And all that laughter!
Bottle of ice cold Carlsberg all ready for us!
Here's some party people with huge smiles on their faces.
Howie and Ezra.
Liza and I.
Erin and Sarah.
Group photo!
You can definitely see how big the venue is, you can fly, jump, roll basically anything haha. But not when you're drunk obviously. We should have done some jump shots!
My group and I also participated in one of the games.
I didn't win but Manda got herself a cute trinket from Carlsberg.
The Drink Responsibly booth which encouraged guests to drink in moderation and hydrate yourself with water. You could check your breath alcohol content by blowing through the breathalyser and if you’re over the limit make sure that you don’t don’t drink and drive.
Responsible drinking - always drink in moderation and hydrate yourself with water. Get your breath alcohol content tested and if you’re over the limit don’t drink and drive. Carlsberg ensured that there were taxis on standby to send guests who were over the legal limit safely home.
'Be Bold’ mobile site – guests could interact with other guests, snap photos and take part in challenges that could win them passes to the global WTP?
After that we went to the chill out zone where we bumped into so many familiar faces.
Jacklyn, myself and Doreen.
Louise, Sam, Howie and I.
The concept of Carlsberg’s WTP is for the bold who step up to earn an exclusive, money-can’t-buy invitation to a party where anything could happen.
Was definitely feeling it as I got in.
After chilling outside and having our dinner we headed into the main party zone.
Now we headed inside to see what's happening!
DJ Joey G and Patricia K were hosting the event. Such a good looking couple!
Douglas Lim was really funny especially when he sang a modified Beyond song mocking K-pop hahaha!
Nine Lives hit the stage with some popular songs and even the same Beyond song that Douglas sang earlier but this time with the lyrics original lar.
All the guys were drooling over Korean group Sweety
Sis having a good time yo!
At the party zone, Carlsberg fans were in for a mega night of visual and audio extravaganza, complete with pulsating beats, sizzling acts and ice cold Carlsberg beer, all orchestrated in a uniquely Carlsberg WTP? style.
Everyone was having tremendous heaps of fun with their very own Carlsberg!
And up came the main act for that night Cazzette!
Everyone was having tremendous heaps of fun with their very own Carlsberg!
As you can see the place was filled to the brim!
Everyone was there, and those who weren't you really missed out /:
We sang, jumped and got so hyped up for all the performances!
Nicole, Manda and Erin.
We sang, jumped and got so hyped up for all the performances!
And then pooooooof! Confetti in the airrrrr!
woooots I love confetti!
Well thats all it is that night inside this spectacular dome Carlsberg has transformed.
As we were walking out, trucks of lok lok were on standby to feed us hungry ghost.
Then it's back home for all of us being escorted out of the venue by the pretty Carlsberg stewardess!
Bon Voyage Carlsberg land!
